Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless, MBC, its subsidiaries and other affiliated companies, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers and any third-party information providers to the MBC Services from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation of the Terms of Use of this Notice. MBC reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate with MBC in asserting any available defenses.
Privacy
MBC is very respectful about the privacy concerns of the visitors to the MBC Website. As a general policy, no personal information is automatically collected from visitors to the MBC Website. However, certain non-personal information of visitors is recorded by the standard operation of the MBC Internet servers (e.g. “cookies”). This information is primarily used to provide an enhanced online experience for the visitor. Information tracked includes the type of browser being used by the visitor (e.g., Safari, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system (e.g., Macintosh, Windows) in use by the visitor and the domain name of the visitor’s Internet service provider. A Special Note for Parents Concerning Privacy
On sites specifically designed for children, MBC makes a special effort to encourage children to consult with their parents before furnishing data. These tools can also prevent children from disclosing their name, address, and other personal information without parental permission.
Jurisdictional Issues
Unless otherwise specified, the materials in the MBC Website are presented solely for the purpose of entertainment and promoting programs and other products available in the areas served by MBC through its licenses. These included United States military bases in Japan but may also include other portions of the United States, its territories, possessions, and protectorates. This site is controlled and operated by MBC from its offices on Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. MBC makes no representation that materials in the MBC Website are appropriate or available for use in all locations, especially outside the United States. Those who choose to access the MBC Website do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with their local laws, if and to the extent local laws may be applicable. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
