Network Operations Center Technician

MBC, the High-Speed Internet and HD Cable TV provider for all U.S. Military installations in Okinawa, is looking to immediately hire a Network Operation Center Technician (NOC Technician).  The ideal candidate is an educated, trained, experienced, and dedicated technical and customer focused individual who is able to execute in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the MBC Core Network.

Job Description / Qualifications:

The NOC Technician executes, in a proactive hands-on role, the planning, operation, monitoring, maintenance and repair of the MBC Core Network. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or proven equivalent work experience as well as a Cisco CCNA, Arista ACEA or industry equivalent certification.  The NOC Technician has strong English language written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills along with a working understanding core network routing, IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, EIRGP and BGP.

MBC offers a generous compensation package including:

  • Starting Hourly Pay of $25.00 – $38.00 per hour based upon experience
  • Guaranteed forty (40) hours per week with overtime opportunities
  • Annual pay raises and bonuses based upon performance
